Question 1 of 3

Who's it for?

Questions

Good to know before you order.

Not sure which knife? Send us a message and we'll help you choose.

How do I care for this knife?

Hand wash only and dry immediately to prevent rust. It is not suitable for the dishwasher.

How do I keep it sharp?

Regular honing plus periodic resharpening on a whetstone will maintain the 8–12° edge.

What tasks is a Gyuto good for?

It's an all-purpose chef's knife — slicing, dicing, mincing and general prep across meat, fish and vegetables.

Can I cut bones or frozen food with it?

No — avoid bones and frozen foods, as the fine edge is designed for clean cuts, not impact.

How fast is delivery?

UK delivery is free on every order, with no minimum spend. Orders are dispatched within 1–2 working days, then delivery takes 5–7 working days (6–9 working days in total). We currently deliver to UK addresses only. Knife orders travel on an age-verified, signature-on-delivery service, so someone aged 18 or over needs to be there with photo ID.

Can I return it?

Yes — you have 30 days from delivery to return an unused knife, plus the statutory 14-day right to cancel.
