Kurocho sells Japanese-style kitchen knives and the things that go with them: gyuto chef's knives, santoku, nakiri, kiritsuke, petty, boning, bread and paring knives, cleavers, knife sets, wooden scabbards, magnetic racks and sharpening steels. Our four ranges are Hinoki (VG10 Damascus with pale wooden handles and scabbards), Kiri (hammered AUS10 kurouchi steel with rosewood octagonal handles), Nami (VG10 Damascus with abalone handles) and the Special Collection (knives and complete sets with coloured resin, G-10, ebony or octagonal handles, plus the full-tang Kuro cleaver).
Every bladed article we sell is an age-restricted product. We do not sell or deliver a knife to anyone under 18 years of age. By placing an order you confirm that you are 18 or over.
Orders containing a bladed article are dispatched on an age-verified service: the package is marked as containing a bladed article, the carrier asks for photographic ID at the door, and the parcel is handed only to a person aged 18 or over. It cannot be left in a safe place, with a neighbour, or in a parcel locker. Full details are in our Shipping Policy and in our Terms of Service.
All prices shown on the Site are in pounds sterling and include all taxes applicable at checkout. For a UK order the price shown at checkout is the final price you pay: there is nothing further to pay on delivery — no import VAT and no customs charge.

Steel grades, hardness figures, blade lengths and weights are given as supplied to us and are subject to normal production tolerances.
Our blades are hand-finished, and many of our handles are turned from stabilised wood, abalone or hand-poured resin. The grain, colour and pattern of the knife you receive will not be identical to the one in the photograph. That is a property of the material, not a fault.
The Site is normally available at all times; interruptions for technical maintenance may occur and we will give notice in advance where it is practical to do so.
Nothing in this notice limits your statutory rights as a consumer, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
This Site and this notice are governed by English law, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protection in your country of residence.
